A Standing Publication

Texas Business Court Annual Review

One edition every year, without a gap. Every edition selects opinions against the same disclosed criteria and links back here. A missing year would be a missing number on this page, which is exactly the point of keeping the index.

Maintained by Charles R. Kraus, licensed in Texas, Minnesota, and Alberta. Index established August 26, 2026.

What this is

Each edition reviews the prior calendar year's most consequential Texas Business Court opinions, selected by two disclosed criteria: a qualitative judgment on which decisions meaningfully changed Business Court practice, and a computed, reproducible criterion run against the firm's own coded opinion dataset. Both criteria are stated in full inside every edition, not just this index. Going forward, each edition is intended to publish in January, covering the year just closed.

The first edition, covering all of calendar 2025, publishes now rather than waiting for a clean January cycle, since the 2025 docket was substantially complete by mid-2026. Every edition after it is intended to hold to the January convention.

Editions

One edition a year, indexed here so a gap year has nowhere to hide.

This index and the reviews it links to provide general information about selected Texas Business Court opinions and are not legal advice for your specific situation.
